1931 Guards/Royal Marine Ceremonial Greatcoat An unusual 1931 dated officer's ceremonial greatcoat. This would appear to be a footguards officer pattern winter greatcoat in soft grey wool, by Jones, Chalk & Dawson and dated 1931. Red cotton lined. This came from the estate of an ex-Royal Marine officer (1950/60's) and has had the original buttons professionally replaced with staybrite Queen's crown RM buttons. Presumably used in this configuration by the RM officer.

Sizes:Will fit upto approx 38" chest depending on clothing worn underneath. Actual measurements are:
Chest Width (laid flat): 22"
Jacket Waist (width, laid flat): 21"
Condition: Very good. Clean and damage free. Considering age it is in immaculate condition and has avoided attention of moths. Holes to epaulettes where rank insignia were previously fixed.
