Royal Marine Officer No1 Tunic, 1942
A bespoke tailored Royal Marine officer's No1 tunic without buttons, for collection or as basis to make up a new uniform. Tunic is 1942 dated. All buttons/rank etc removed. By Gieves.

Tunic:                   Approx 34/35". Measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):      18"

Shoulder:                           17"

Waist (width, laid flat):       16"

Length:                              29"

Sleeve:                              22.5"

Condition:                Worn but intact. No actual damage to the tunic in terms of holes/tears etc, although there is very noticeable wear in terms of significant "shine" to the material. Holes in lapels and epaulettes where rank insignia removed. Will never be upto military standard again, but would make good base for anyone wishing to recreate a post-war (or wartime) RM No1 uniform.
