Compass, Prismatic A British army prismatic marching compass. Non-reflective black finish. Stamped with the War Department broad arrow acceptance mark. Marked "G.E.C No B321376", Compass has it's rubber non-slip ring on underside. With khaki lanyard attached.
Date: Not obviously dated although there are stamps inside lid which appear to say "SEI 41". Came from a collection of immediate WW2 and immediate post-war kit from an ex-serving soldier. Possibly 1941, but we are not experts in dating compasses!
Condition: Compass plate turns. Bezel/face does not rotate. External paint chips/marks as per photos.
