RAF Mess Uniform, Sq Ldr Pilot
RAF No.5 mess uniform consisting of jacket, waistcoat and trousers (shirt/tie not included, braces/shirts usually available as an option). Jacket is ranked to a Squadron Leader, has mounted QC buttons, links and a pilot's brevet/"wings". Wool waistcoat has mounted RAF buttons and an altered/elasticated rear. Trousers are high-backed have zip fly and braces buttons (rear two are messing).

Sizes:        Jacket approx 36/37" chest. Trousers approx 33.5" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):                19"

Shoulder:                                    17"

Jacket Waist (width, buttoned):  17"

Length:                                        20"

Sleeve:                                        24"

Waistcoat waist (laid flat):           17.5"

Trouser waist:                             33.5" (nothing to let out)

Inside Leg:                                  30.5" (nothing to let down)

Condition:           In good condition. Clean and damage free. Only light wear. The waistcoat back has been converted/enlarged with elastic (see photo). Rank lace is faded.
