1940s RAOC No1 Jacket
An unusual No1 patrol/"blues" jacket and belt, bespoke tailored in a soft wool with a velvety/moleskin feel to it. Royal Army Ordnance Corps brass King's crown buttons, Major's crowns, ribbons for a Defence Medal, War Medal and Long Service/Good Conduct Medal. Tunic has white cotton collar.

Date:        Undated, but from the estate of an officer who served during WW2. His SD being 1944 dated.

Sizes:      Jacket approx 34/45" chest. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):     18"

Shoulder:                         15"

Waist (width, laid flat):     16.5"  (approx 31" max)

Length:                            25.5"

Sleeve:                            23"

Collar:                             15,5"

Condition:         Good. Light wear to surface of material. Several slight/light marks which aren't especially notiecable and should sponge out. A 1mm moth nip on one pocket flap. No other damage or excessive wear.
