RAF Squadron Leader Mess Uniform
A Royal Air Force Squadron Leaders mess dress uniform for sale consisting of jacket,waistcoat and trousers (shirt/tie/braces excluded). In excellent over-all condition. Brass QC buttons and jacket fastener. Jacket by Alkit to a Pilot Officer R.A.Mitchell. Trousers by Moss Bros, high waisted No.1 type material. Left lapel has "becketts" for attaching mini-medals (2 additional loops have been added with ordinary thread, these can be easily unpicked/removed).

Size:       Jacket approx 37/38" chest. Trousers approx 30" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):        19"

Shoulders:                          16.5"

Waist (when buttoned):      16.5"

Length:                               20.5"

Arms:                                 24.5"

Waistcoat Waist:                17"

Trouser Waist:                    30" (nothing to let out)

Trousers Leg:                     29" (+2" to let down)

Condition:    Good/presentable. Clean, No damage. Some wear to lower lapels (see photo). An extra pair of cotton loops have been sewn on to the lapel to attach min-medals, these look a little messy and could be easily removed.
