WW2 Royal Canadian Air Force Flight Sergeant Air Gunner's Service Dress jacket. Has RCAF Air Gunner brevet, Sgts chevrons, brass KC Flt.Sgts crowns, and Canadian eagles to both arms. Kings crown brass RAF buttons, and ribbon for '39/45 Star on pin. Original canvas label is illegible. Field dressing pocket on RHS. Brass belt hooks. Printing inside tunic as follows: "Checked 13.6.41" with "C" above. Broad Arrow with "44" below and "C7" above. "4745854" printed on right inner lapel. Points to note: jacket has RAF buttons, not RCAF. Eagles both face forwards, not backwards.
We believe this to be the genuine article, but can't provide assurance that it hasn't been tampered with over time. Happy to provide any additional details/photos as required.
Condition: Generally in good condition. There are 2 moth holes to lower back (max.6mm, see photo), 1 below left armpit approx. 6x5mm, 2 to right elbow approx.3x3mm. Other than that tunic is sound and wearable, or an excellent collectors item.
