RAF "Suits. Aircrew" Blouse 1943


An original RAF "Suits, Aircrew" (battledress) blouse. An early issue example dated 1943, by Elem Clothing Co, Andrew Brent Ltd. With padded original KC pilot brevet/wings, ranked to a Flying Officer. Metal buttons.

Date:  1943

Size:   Will fit a chest approx 38/41". Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):  22"

Shoulder:  18"

Waist (width, laid flat):  18"

Length:  22.5"

Sleeve:  26,5"

Condition:  Very good. Only defects are apair of moth holes partly concealed in one of the front pleats (largest approx 6mm x 3mm, see photo), a small paint mark to rear (approx 1cm long, will probably clean out with care), and 1 missing button (bottom of blouse front).
