Greatcoat, 1942, Corps of Military Police WO2 A British Army 1942 dated 1940-pattern greatcoat with a pair of nice embroidered/padded King's crown Warrant Officer Class 2 badges, coat has staybrite King's crown CMP/RMP buttons, Labelled "Great Coats Dismounted 1940 Pattern, Size No.11" by H.Lotery & Co Ltd.
Date: 1942. Buttons added later.
Size: Approx 39/41" chest depending on clothing worn underneath. Actual measurements are:
Chest Width (laid flat): 22.5"
Jacket Waist (width, laid flat): 21"
Condition: Very good. Clean and damage free other than a single area of moth damage to the rear between shoulder blades (see photo #8. Hole is approx 4mm long, in a larger area of moth tracing).
