A British Army '49 Pattern Battle Dress uniform consisting of blouse and trousers (shirt, tie, braces, belts available as options). Blouse is by James Smith & Co dated 1954, with embroidered Lieutenant's stars/pips with yellow RAPC backing, Royal Army Pay Corps shoulder titles and ribbons for a WW2 Defence Medal and War Medal. Trousers are '49 Pattern BD trousers, select from options. A contemporary wool shirt, and a modern wool tie/braces can be added as options. Various '37 pattern belts and anklets are available on the webshop.
Date: Blouse 1954. Trousers as described.
Blouse: Labelled Size 5. Height 5'5-5'6, Breast 36"-37", Waist 31"-32". Actual measurements are:
Chest Width (laid flat): 19"
Jacket Waist: 16"
Trousers: Select from options.
Condition:Blouse - Clean and almost damage free other than 2 pin-head sized moth holes to the right breast pocket (see photo #16) and a single hole of approx 4mm x 3mm to left elbow (see photo #15). Trousers, expect light wear as standard. Minor moth damage (a few pinhead sized holes and/or surface tracing) likely to trousers unless stated otherwise. More noticeable/serious defects, if any, will be stated in options. Shirts. All in good used condition unless stated otherwise.
