Royal Navy No.1, Chief Petty Officer
A Royal Navy Number 1 uniform ranked to a Chief Petty Officer, consisting of jacket and trousers (shirt/tie not included, caps usually available as option). Jacket with QC RN buttons to cuffs & front and ribbon for a Long Service/Good Conduct medal. Trousers are zip fly, hook/eye waist fastening, with side waist adjusters.

Date:     Undated

Sizes:    Jacket approx 37/38" chest. Trousers 32" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):             19.5"

Shoulder:                                17"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):   18"

Length:                                   28"

Sleeve:                                   24.4"

Trouser waist:                         32.5" (+3.5" to let out)

Inside Leg:                             30" (+1" to let down)

Condition:    Reasonable condition. No nasty marks or holes/damage other than 3 small (approx 3mm diameter) moth holes to one shoulder, although the uniform looks generally "tired". A dry clean and press would improve the over-all appearance. Some "shine", particularly to trouser seat. Period repairs to trousers pockets. Discreet wear to trouser hems.
