Helmet, MkIV with Net
A British Mark IV steel "turtle" helmet with original net cover.  Leather liner with lift-the-dot fastener.

This is "as-issued". Kept by the original owner for many years, a Sgt (later commissioned) Despatch Rider in the Assault Pioneer Platoon of the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment.

Date:       Helmet shell 1952. Liner 1953

Size:        Liner stamped size 7.

Condition:  Very good. Original paintwork intact. No dents or damage to shell. Elastic strap still stretchy and complete. Liner leatherwork has hardened a little and not overly flexible, but unbroken and complete.
