Royal Navy Lt Cdr No1 Uniform
A Royal Navy Number 1 uniform ranked to a Lieutenant Commander, consisting of doeskin jacket and trousers (shirt/tie not included, cap available as option). Jacket has Lt Cdr's lace, King's crown RN officer's buttons and ribbons for an OBE, '39/45 Star, Atlantic Star with rosette, Africa Star, Pacific Star, War Medal and Naval General Service Medal. Doeskin trousers are button fly with hook/eye waist fastening and braces buttons.

Date:    1954

Sizes:   Jacket approx 41/42" chest. Trousers approx 36" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):              22"

Shoulder:                                  17"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):   20"

Length:                                     30"

Sleeve:                                     25" 

Trouser waist:                         36" (+2.5" to let out)

Inside Leg:                              30" (+1.5" to let down)

Condition:     Overall in good condition. Jacket has noticeable wear around pockets, similar wear at back of collar (not seen when worn) and 2 or 3 light marks on the front (these appear to be food or similar, and look as if they would clean out with sponge or dry clean) but no damage or other significant wear/marks. Trousers have some "shine" to the seat. The only actual damage is a hole approx 2cm x 1cm in the seat, between legs at back (see photo #12, a similar sized area on the opposite side is worn thin). As it is between legs it's not immediately obvious when being worn, but would benefit from being patched from behind with a piece of spare material from the seam.
