Hussar's 3/4 blanket lined jacket with QRIH collar dogs. 4th Queen;s Own Hussars trooper's busby is dated 1914, by Hobson & Sons, with brass curb chain, red horsehair plume in brass cup. High backed No1 trousers are button fly with twin yellow 3/4" stripes. Includes yellow capline attached to busby with brass fitting (we aren't sure exactly how the capline is worn by the QRIH so have shown it looped back onto the busby, which is probably incorrect).
Date: Jacket undated/illegible (see below). Trousers undated.. Busby dated 1914.
Jacket has remains of a paper label (see photo). Although the date isn't legible, the paper label iself would date this jacket at arround WW1 or earlier.

Essentially damage free although there is hole in the rear waist approx 3mm diameter. Trouser legs are not hemmed. Busby in good solid condition. One bald patch (approx 4cm x 2cm) on left side (see photo #11) and some loose stitching on internal sweatband, although it is intact and secure).
