Mess Uniform - Queens Royal Hussars Corp
A British Army Queens Royal Hussars NCO pattern mess uniform consisting of jacket, bib/waistcoat and trousers. Black melton wool jacket with red facings, gilt edging, Corporal's rank. Red wool bib/waistcoat is full backed with zips at side and neck, and rear waist adjuster. Trousers/overalls are high backed with zip fly, twin 3/4" yellow stripes, leather under-boot straps and braces buttons. Grey elastic MoD braces available as an option.

Date:      Undated. Pre 1995.

Sizes:     Jacket approx 38/39" chest. Trousers approx 35" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):        20

Shoulder:                           18"

Waist (width, laid flat):        n/a, worn open.

Length:                               20.5"

Sleeve:                               25.5"

Waistcoat Width (laid flat):  18"

Waistcoat Collar:                15.5"

Trouser waist:                    35.5" (+1" to let out)

Inside Leg:                         33"  (to instep)

Condition:     Good condition.  Signs of light wear/bobbling, some faint grease spots to front of bib/waistcoat, but otherwise clean and damage free.
