Scots Guards Major No1 Uniform.
British Army Scots Guards No.1 Patrol/Blues dress uniform, consisting of jacket, belt and trousers. Jacket has gilt Major's crowns, staybrite Scots Guards buttons and ribbons for a Campaign Service Medal, Iraq War Medal, Afghanistan OSM with rosette and Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal. Heavyweight trousers are high backed with 2 3/4" stripes, leather under-boot straps, button fly and waist fastening (no braces buttons). Cloth belt has staybrite buckle.

Date:     Undated (trousers older than jacket)

Sizes:   Jacket approx 39/40" chest. Trousers approx 32" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):     20.5"

Shoulder:                         18"

Waist (width, laid flat):     17"

Length:                            32.5"

Sleeve:                            27"

Collar:                             16"

Trouser waist:                  32"  (+2.5" to let out)

Inside Leg:                       32" to instep (+1" to let down)

Condition:         Jacket in very good condition, Damage free. Minimal wear. Clean other than a mark (approx 20mm x 15mm) to breast pocket (possibly sticky patch where a label was previously placed , see photo #11).  Trousers in good condition. Slightly more worn/older than jacket, but clean and damage free. One fly button missing.
