Royal Leicestershire Regt WO2 No1
A collectable British Army Royal Leicestershire Regiment No.1 Patrol/Blues dress uniform, consisting of jacket, belt and trousers. Jacket with grey piping to epaulettes has Warrant Officer Class 2 crown with red felt backing, staybrite Royal Leics. buttons, bi-metal Royal Leics collar dogs, parachute qualification "wings", ribbons for a '39/45 Star, Africa Star, Burma Star and War Medal. Trousers are high backed with 1" stripes, button fly and waist fastening and braces buttons. Cloth belt has pressed brass buckle.

Sizes:   Jacket approx 37/38" chest. Trousers approx 35" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):     19.5"

Shoulder:                         16"

Waist (width, laid flat):     18"

Length:                            29"

Sleeve:                            24.5"

Collar:                             15.5"

Trouser waist:                  35.5"  (nothing to let out)

Inside Leg:                       29" (+2.5" to let down)

Condition:         Jacket shows signs of wear/general "tiredness", particularly around collar and button holes. Light marks and "shine" in places but no stains/obvious marks. Externally damage free. Internally the armpit lining is coming unsittched. Be aware that this jacket would benefit from a clean - it has a distinctly musty smell. Up close there is a very obvious/nasty armpit smell. Trousers show signs of general wear, but are clean and damage free other than a couple of pin-head sized holes. A v-shaped panel has been sewn in to the rear trouser waist band to increase waist size.
