Mess Dress - RLC 2Lt
British Army Royal Logistic Corps* officer's pattern mess dress uniform consisting of jacket, dress and cummerbund. Black wool jacket with blue velvet collar/cuffs, gilt eding and detachable 3-cord gold mylar epaulettes with Second Lieutenant rank. Blue dress is half-lined, zip at back, hook/eye fastening at rear collar and velcro tabs on shoulders. Pleated cummerbund with blue velvet panel on front and button fastening at rear.

*This is unusual in that RLC usually wear a skirt and bib/waistcoat, not a blue dress, however it does appear to be worn by certain units (EOD?).
