Lieutenant General's No.1 Blues Uniform
A senior officer's Number 1 Blues uniform consisting of patrol jacket, trousers, waist sash and braces. Jacket by Alkit is black silk lined, with detachable epaulettes with Lieutenant General's rank insignia (brass King's crown crown), screw-in Royal Welch Fusilier's buttons, RWF black silk flash, General's No1 dress gorgets, staybrite General's buttons, ribbons for a CB, CMG, NATO Medal for Active Endeavour, General Service Medal,  MINURCA, UNPROFOR,  NATO Yugoslavia, NATO Kosovo, Sierra Leone OSM with rosette, Iraq War Medal with MiD oak leaf, Afghanistan OSM with rosette, Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal, Accumulated Campaign Service Medal, Accumulated Campaign Service Medal (post 2011), Long Service/Good Conduct Medal with clasp . Crimson waist sash with tassles and brass fittings by Hobson & Sons. Trousers are OR's No1 trousers with 1" crimson wool stripe, button fly, high backed with braces buttons (1 missing). A pair of grey button-on army braces are included (not pictured).

Date:        Jacket 1950. Trousers not dated.

Sizes:      Jacket approx 41/42" chest. Trousers approx 39" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):  21.5"

Shoulder:                      18"

Waist (width, laid flat):  19.5"

Length:                         31"

Sleeve:                         25.5"

Collar:                          17"

Trouser waist:              39" (nothing to let out)

Inside Leg:                   33" (+1" to let down)

Sash:                           Max 43" length.

Condition:     Jacket in reasonable condition. Damage free. No significant wear, although has a slightly "tired" feel. Two areas with light marks to front (not stains, should sponge/wash out). Holes to epaulattes where insignia previously fitted. Trousers and sash in good condition. Clean and damage free.
