Welsh GuardsNo2/Service Dress
A Welsh Guards 1960s green No2 service dress uniform consisting of jacket, trousers, white belt, shirt and tie. Jacket has staybrite WG buttons. Trousers are button fly, hook/loop and button waist fastening, button down belt loops and adjustable waist. Belt is white courlene (plastic) with chrome fittings. A modern fawn shirt and wool tie are also included (pls select size from options).

Date:     Jacket/Trousers undated but 1960s era.

Sizes:    Jacket approx 35/37" chest. Trousers approx 29" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):   19"

Shoulder:                       17"

Waist (width, laid flat):    15.5" (max 29/30" waist)

Length:                           30"

Sleeve:                           27" (long)

Trouser waist:                29" (+0" to let out)

Inside Leg:                     31.5" (+1.5" to let down)

Shirt:                              Select from options.

Condition:     Jacket has white marks around waist where white buff leather belt has previously been worn, and small holes to epaulettes where insignia were fitted. Otherwise clean and damage free, Trousers have 1 (of 2) waist buttons missing, and 1 (of 6) braces buttons missing. Trousers are slightly more "tired" than jacket and could do with a dry clean to brighten them up a little but there are no obvious marks/stains. There is a single moth hole approx 3mm x 1mm on one knee, otheer than that damage free.
