RMP Sergeant Mess
British Army old pattern (pre-AGC) Royal Military Police NCO's mess uniform consisting of jacket, bib/waistcoat and trousers. Jacket is black wool with red facings, gold edging, RMP collar dogs, staybrite buttons and Sergeant's rank insignia. Bib is red wool and open backed. Mess trousers have 1 3/4" scarlet stripes, zip fly, hook/eye waist fastening and braces buttons.

NOTE:  We have spare mess trousers. If you need a larger pair please ask.

Size:          Approx 42/43" chest. Trousers approx 41" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):              22"

Shoulder:                                  18.5"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):   n/a, worn open.

Sleeve:                                     23.5"  

Waistcoat Waist:                      n/a

Collar:                                      18"

Trouser waist:                          41" (+2" to let out)

Condition:   Jacket in good overall condition. It shows signs of general wear/slightly "tired", but is clean and damage free.  Bib only has light wear but does have wine/port marks on the front. These may sponge/clean out a little but probably not completely. Trousers in very good condition. Clean and damage free.
