Mess Uniform - W&SF NCO
British Army Worcester & Sherwood Foresters NCO pattern mess uniform consisting of jacket, waistcoat and trousers (shirt/grey braces usually available as an option). Jacket is red wool with green facings and staybrite W&SF buttons. Waistcoat is green wool with a full back in brown silk and rear waist adjuster, with staybrite W&SF buttons. Trousers are high backed No1s with button fly/waist fastening, braces buttons, and 1 3/4" scarlet stripes.

NB: We usually have plenty if No1 trousers in stock if you require a different size. Pls just ask.

Date:       Jacket undated. Trs 1953

Size:       Jacket approx  41/42" chest. Trousers approx 32" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):              21.5"

Shoulder:                                  18"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):    n/a, worn open.

Length:                                       20"

Sleeve:                                       23.5"

Waistcoat waist:                         20"

Trouser waist:                            32.5" (+2" to let out)

Inside Leg:                                  29" (+2" to let down)

Condition:          Good condition. Light wear but clean and damage free other than a single moth hole to lapel (approx 3mm diameter). Slight impression on arm where rank stripes previously fitted.
