1944 Royal Navy Battle Dress Blouse
A 1944 dated Royal Navy "Blue Serge Working Dress Blouse Officer's" battle dress blouse. In blue serge with brass King's crown buttons. By H.Lotery & Co Ltd. Sub-Lieutenant (Reserves) shoulder boards attached with Queen's crown buttons (the rank boards are a later addition to the blouse). This is direct from the estate of an ex-RN officer, has not been in private ownership before.

Date:  Dated 1944

Sizes:   Blouse labelled Size 12, Height 5'9 to 5'10, Breast 40" to 41", Waist 35" to 36". Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):                23"

Shoulder:                                    19"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):     18.5"

Length:                                        23"

Sleeve:                                        25"

Condition:  In very good condition. Clean and damage free. Minimal wear. No holes. No moth damage.
