RN FAA Commander Mess Uniform
A Royal Navy officer's Number 2 mess uniform ranked to a Commander, consisting of jacket, waistcoat and trousers (shirt/tie/braces not included, shirt/grey braces usually available as options). Jacket has RN Cdr's lace, Fleet Air Arm Observer's badge, link buttons and Queen's crown RN officers' buttons. Waistcoat is open backed with Queen's crown buttons. Mess trousers are high-backed and have zip fly, hook/eye waist fastening and braces buttons.

Date:       Undated

Sizes:     Jacket approx 43/44" chest. Trousers approx 40" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):   22.5"

Shoulder:                      18"

Jacket Waist                 20" (buttoned)

Length:                         22.5"

Sleeve:                         25.5"

Waistcoat Waist:          16"

Trouser waist:              40" (+4" to let out)

Inside Leg:                   33" (+1.5" to let down)

Condition:           In very good condition. Minimal wear. Clean and damage free, although the waistcaot neck elastic is very stretched and has been knotted to shorten it.
