RCT S/Sgt Mess
A Royal Corps of Transport NCO-pattern mess uniform consisting of jacket, waistcoat and trousers (shirt/tie not included but usually available as option). Black jacket with cream facings, staybrite RCT collar dogs and Staff Sergeant rank. Waistcoat is full backed with staybrite RCT buttons and a rear waist adjuster. Trousers have zip fly, hook/eye waist fastening, twin 3/4" cream stripes and braces buttons.

Date:         1978 (trousers)

Sizes:       Jacket approx 43/44" chest. Trousers approx 34" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):      22.5"

Shoulder:                          18"

Waist (width, laid flat):       n/a, worn open.

Length:                              21.5"

Sleeve:                              25"

Waistcoat Width (laid flat): 20"

Trouser waist:                    34" (+1" to let out)

Inside Leg:                         32"  (+1" to let down.

Condition:    Good condition. Light wear. No obvious marks/stains. No damage. Originally trousers had adjusters on the waist band which have been cut off.
