Life Guards Ceremonial Cloak G2
A Life Guards (Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment) ceremonial cloak/coat, worn by other ranks during winter/inclement weather on ceremonial/public duties. A lined thick wool coat with blue wool collar fastened with metal hooks. Staybrite LG buttons. Some have a half-belt which allows coat to be "drawn in" at rear when dismounted.

These are all "Grade2" - variable condition, they will have defects which are mentioned in the descriptions below:

Chest Width (laid flat):               26"

Shoulder:                                   18"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):    n/a

Sleeve:                                      23"

Condition:     Grade 2. No buttons. There is a cut approx 13" long in the rear skirt (see photo). No belt. A hole approx 1cm long near front left armpit (see photo) and a repair underneath the armpit where buttons where previously fitted. Minor damage to internal lining iin one armpit. Otherwise coat is in very reasonable condition and could be repaired or made into something quite wearable.

Condition:     Grade 2 - 1 button missing on front, no rear buttons or belt. Untidy repairs where both rear buttons have been ripped off (see photo, the other repair is similar but smaller). Otherwise in good over all condition.
