Devonshire Regt Mess, Major
British Army Devonshire Regiment officer-pattern mess uniform consisting of jacket and trousers. Jacket is scarlet wool with black facings, mounted buttons and Major's rank on gold mylar epaulettes. Trousers are high backed with button fly and waist fastening, braces buttons, leather under-boot straps and 1/4" maroon wool stripe.

Size:         Approx 36/37" chest. Trousers approx 34" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):            19"

Shoulder:                                16"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):  n/a, worn open.

Length:                                   20"

Sleeve:                                   23.5"

Trouser waist:                        34"   (+2" to let out)

Inside Leg:                             31"  (+1" to let down)

Condition:   Good condition. General light wear, a few slight/reasonably discrete port/food marks on arms, but otherwise clean and damage free.
