KORBR Officer SD Uniform
A British Army officer's service dress uniform by Gieves & Hawkes consisting of jacket and trousers (shirt, tie, braces and belts available as options). Jacket has staybrite King's Own Royal Border Regiment buttons, KORBR "Glider" insignia and ribbons for a General Service Medal and a UN Cyprus Medal. Trousers are zip fly with braces buttons, side waist adjusters and button-down belt loops..

NB: Add a modern FAD shirt, wool tie, leather Sam Browne belt, white courlene plastic  or grey braces - select from options above.

Date:         1985

Sizes:       Jacket approx 36/37" chest. Trousers approx 34" waist*. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):              19"

Shoulder:                                  17"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):   17"  (max 32/33" waist)

Length:                                      30.5"

Sleeve:                                      24"

Trouser waist::                          34.5" (+0" to let out)

Inside Leg:                                30.5" (+1.5" to let down)

Condition:       Generally good condition. Jacket is clean and has no significant defects although there is a moth hole (approx 2mm) on rear shoulder (see photo) and a slightly smaller hole/nip on front left shoulder. There are 2 or 3 less noticeable very small areas of moth tracing (not holes) elsewhere. Pinholes in lapels where collar badges were previously fitted. Trousers are clean and damage free..

Shirts and ties are new. Braces used grade 1 condition. Sam Brownes are used and condition varies. .
