QLR Major Mess
British Army Queen's Lancashire Regiment officer-pattern mess uniform consisting of jacket, bib/waistcoat and trousers. Jacket is scarlet wool with white piping, embroidered QLR collar badges, parachute qualification badge and Major's rank on epaulattes. Black wool waistcoat is full backed, with gilt detailing, QLR buttons, zips to side and neck. Trousers are high backed with button fly, hook/eye waist fastening, braces buttons, leather under-boot straps and 1/4" scarlet wool stripe.
