RCT Lieutenant SD Uniform
A British Army officer's service dress (old-style, pre-FAD) uniform consisting of jacket and trousers (shirt, tie, braces and belts available as options). Jacket has staybrite Royal Corps of Transport buttons, Lieutenant's rank and enamelled RCT collars. Trousers are buton fly with braces buttons and button-down belt loops..

NB: Add a modern FAD shirt, wool tie, leather Sam Browne belt, white courlene plastic  or grey braces - select from options above.

Date:         Undated

Sizes:       Jacket approx 37/38" chest. Trousers approx 29" waist*. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):              19.5"

Shoulder:                                  17"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):   17"  (max 33" waist)

Length:                                      32"

Sleeve:                                      25"

Trouser waist::                          29.5" (+2" to let out)

Inside Leg:                                33" (+1.5" to let down)

Condition:       Good condition. Light wear. Clean. Jacket is damage free. Trousers are in generally good condition although there is a cluster of half a dozen small pin-head holes aorund crotch (approx 1mm diameter), and 2 discreet period repairs on rear seat/upper thigh (each approx 1cm long), not especially visible.

Shirts and ties are new. Braces used grade 1 condition. Sam Brownes are used and condition varies. .
