RAF Air Vice Marshal No1 Uniform
An RAF No.1 Service Dress uniform (jacket, trousers & belt). Jacket has AVM rank, metal RAF Medical Services collar badges, detachable shoulder straps/epaulettes, staybrite QC buttons and belt with staybrite silver buckle. No1 trousers are zip fly with hook/eye waist fastening, side waist adjusters.

Cap/braces/shirt/tie not included but usually available as options

Date:      1977

 Sizes:   Jacket approx 37/39" chest. Trousers approx 34" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):             20"

Shoulder:                                 17.5"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):  18.5"  (max 35" waist)

Length:                                     31"

Sleeve:                                     24.5"

Trouser waist:                          34"  (+0.5" to let out)

Inside leg:                                29" (+1.5" to let down)

Condition:    Generally good condition. Light wear/slightly faded, but clean. There is a neat period repair to the edge of one trouser pocket and a couple of small "pulls" to the material on the upper right arm where a badge was previous sewn on. Otherwise damage free.

Note:  Uniform is a couple of shades lighter than it appears in the photos.

Shirts/braces are used but good condition. Ties are new. Caps as per description.
