LI Major No1 Jacket
Bespoke officer's No1 patrol/"blues" jacket in Rifle green. Light Infantry buttons, LI collar dogs and ribbon for a General Service Medal. Removable shoulder straps with major's rank. Studs for cotton collar.

Date:        1956

Sizes:      Jacket approx 37/38" chest. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):     19.5"

Shoulder:                         17"

Waist (width, laid flat):     17.5"  (approx 33/34" max)

Length:                            30"

Sleeve:                            26"

Collar:                             16"

Condition:         Grade 1 - Good. Signs of wear but clean. No damage. There are two small holes in collar where a different badge has previously been fitted. One shoulder strap button is missing. Holes in shoulder straps where diffeent rank fitted.
