Staff Brigadier Mess Uniform
British Army General Staff-pattern mess uniform consisting of jacket, waistcoat and trousers. Jacket is scarlet wool with black facings and Brigadier's rank on gilt-edged epaulattes with reserve "R"s. Black waistcoat with brass Royal Engineer buttons. Trousers are high backed with button fly/waist fastening, braces buttons, leather under-boot straps and 2" scarlet wool stripe. Shirt/tie not included but usually available as options.

Date:        Trousers 1958. Jacket illegible.

Size:         Approx 43/45" chest. Trousers approx 42.5" waist. Actual measurements are:

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):  n/a worn open.

Condition:     Good. Light wear and slight fading to jacket/epaulettes, but clean and damage free,
