Royal Engineers Signal Service
A pre-WW1 era Royal Engineer's home service dress tunic with original paper label. Scarlet melton wool jacket with blue piping to front, epaulettes and hem, dark blue velvet cuffs/collar, yellow cord detailing to cuffs and collar. Half lined with blanket material. Buttons are king's crown brass Royal Engineer buttons by Samuel Brothers and are original to the tunic. The original glued on paper label is still in place although damaged/torn. Territorial Signal Service brass shoulder titles, in themselves very collectable.

Size:               Approx 35/36". Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):             18"

Shoulder:                                 14"

Condition:        Overall in good condition. There is a single small cut (approx 3mm) where medal bar has been pinned on (see photo) and a small moth hole on rear shoulder (see photo). A few minor spots of moth tracing/light marks but nothing significant.
