1940 Officer's Greatcoat
A British Army officer's private purchase greatcoat dated 1940. The original buttons have been replaced with more modern Staybrite King's Own Scottish Borderers Regiment buttons but these could easily be replaced with brass buttons to make a nice original WW2 greatcoat for 1940'e events/reenactment etc.

Sizes: Approx 36/38" chest. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat): 21"

Shoulder: 17"

Waist (width, laid flat): 19"

Length: 47"

Sleeve: 22" (short)

Condition: Good. One shoulder button missing. Some extremely minor surface moth tracing in places (only noticeable on close inpsection) but otherwise clean and damage-free.
