Mounted Greatcoat, 1943
A British Army "Greatcoat, Mounted Size 7" serge greatcoat. With officer's leather "football" buttons.

Date:         1943

Sizes:        Labelled Height 6'0 - 6'2, Chest 41"-43" but will only fit approx 37/40" chest, depending on clothing worn underneath. Moving buttons would increase chest size.  Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):    21"

 Shoulder:                      18"

 Waist (width, laid flat):  19"

 Length:                         42.5"

 Sleeve:                         26

Condition:      In reasonable condition. Light wear. Clean. There are 3 small moth holes on right arm (see photo), a hole approx 3mm diameter on lower rear skirt, wear to some leather buttons and holes in shoulder straps where rank was fitted.
