RAF No1 Group Captain
An RAF officer's No1 Home Service dress uniform (jacket, belt and trousers). With Group Captain rank (old-style separate braids), brass King's crown buttons and ribbons for an OBE, DFM, '39/45 Star, Air Crew Europe Star with rosette, Defence Medal, War Medal with MiD oak leaf, General Service Medal and a 1953 Coronation Medal. Belt with staybrite buckle. No1 trousers have zip fly, braces buttons and hook/eye waist fastening. (Cap/braces/shirt/tie not included but usually available as options)

Date:    Jacket 1965

Size:     Approx 40/41" chest. Waist approx 36" Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):     21"

Shoulder:                         19"

Waist (width, laid flat):     19" 

Length:                            29"

Sleeve:                            24 "

Trouser waist:                  36" (+1.5" to let out)

Inside Leg:                       31" (nothing to let down)

Condition:       Generally good. Light wear/slight fading but clean. Jacket has a single discreet 2mm hole on rear below armpit and there is a single hole about 5mm diameter on the front crease of the trousers just above the ankle/hem and some fraying to hem. No other damage.

Shirts will be in good used condition (light wear but clean and damage free). Tie will be new.
