RAF Mess Uniform, Sq Ldr
RAF No.5 mess uniform consisting of jacket, waistcoat and trousers (shirt/tie not included, braces/shirts usually available as an option). Jacket is ranked to a Squadron Leader, with mounted QC buttons. Wool waistcoat is backless with mounted buttons. Trousers are high backed with zip fly (no braces buttons).

Date:         1978

Sizes:        Jacket approx 37/39" chest. Trousers approx 34.5" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):                20"

Shoulder:                                    17"

Jacket Waist (width, buttoned):  18"

Length:                                        20"

Sleeve:                                        26"

Waistcoat waist (laid flat):           n/a

Trouser waist:                             34.5" (+2.5" to let out)

Inside Leg:                                  31" (+2" to let down)

Condition:          Very good. Only light wear. Clean and damage-free. Only issue is that the waistcoat elastic at neck is stretched/lost elasticity, ideally needs replacing.
