RAF Sq Ldr No1 Uniform
An RAF No.1 Service Dress uniform (includes jacket, trousers & belt). Jacket has Squadron Leader's rank, staybrite QC buttons and belt with staybrite silver buckle. Trousers are zip fly with hook/eye waist fastening (Cap/braces/shirt/tie not included but usually available as options)

Date:      Undated

 Sizes:   Jacket approx 45/46" chest. Trousers approx 42" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):            24"

Shoulder:                                19"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):  20.5" 

Length:                                     32"

Sleeve:                                     25.5"

Trouser waist:                          42"  (nothing to let out)

Inside leg:                                31" (+1.5" to let down)

Condition:      Generally good condition. The only specific issues are a slightly basic repair to the rear crotch of the trousers between legs where the seam had become strained/unstitched (see photo), a couple of 1mm holes to front leg, and a minor impression where medal ribbons previously fitted. No other damage. No specific marks although uniform shows signs of general wear. Note that jacket buttons have been moved to edge of breast to increase chest/waist size. Lightly creased.
