Royal Artillery Sgt Band Tunic
Not too many of these on the market. A Royal Artillery band ceremonial/No1 tunic. Black Melton wool with red facings, gold mylar cord to collar and shoulders, RA buttons, gold Austrian knots on cuffs, Royal Artillery Sergeant's rank and bandsman's insignia.

Size:          Approx 37/38.5" chest. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):               20"

Shoulder:                                   16"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):    17.5"

Length:                                      32"

Sleeve:                                      26.5"

Collar:                                       16"

Condition:     Generally good but with moth damage to rear shoulder. The jacket is slightly and evenly faded with age but clean. The only damage is an area of moth holes on the rear left shoulder (see photo).  9 holes in a cluster, the largest is approx 18mm x 10mm, the rest are considerably smaller. Holes could be patched with material from the lining, or coloured black to make them less noticeable. No other damage.
