RAOC Lt Mess
A Royal Army Ordnance Corps officer-pattern mess uniform consisting of jacket, waistcoat and trousers (shirt/tie not included but usually available as options). Black jacket with red facings, King's crown RAOC buttons, KC RAOC enamelled collar badges and Lieutenant's rank. Full-backed waistcoat with mounted King's crown RAOC buttons. High-backed trousers with button fly, twin 3/4" scarlet stripes, braces buttons and under-boot straps.

Date:      Undated. From the estate of an RAOC officer who served during WW2.

Sizes:    Jacket approx 36/37" chest. Trousers approx 33" waist. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):          19"

Shoulder:                              15"

Waist (width, laid flat):           n/a

Length:                                  20"

Sleeve:                                  24"

Waistcoat Waist (laid flat):     16"

Trouser waist:                        33" (+2.5" to let out)

Inside Leg:                             30"  (+1" to let down.

Condition:      Good condition. Signs of use/light wear but clean. The only damage is a single moth hole of approx 1mm diameter on the left lapel above the collar badge.
