1951 Battledress Blouse A British Army 1951 dated Battle Dress blouse from an officer of The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment). Shoulder titles and rank insignia have been removed, but blouse retains it's (19 Infantry Brigade?) insignia. Labelled "Battledress Blouse 1949 Pattern Size 6, Height 5'5-5'6, Breast 38" to 39", Waist 33-34" 1951, ROF Chorley".
Sizes:Jacket approx 38/39" chest if worn over thick shirt as intended.
Chest Width (laid flat): 22"
Jacket Waist (width, laid flat): 17"
Condition: Moth damage to front - mainly right breast pocket and around (see photo #8). There are also smaller moth holes over the front, examples shown in photos #9 and 10.
