Royal Engineers Corporal A British Army '49 Pattern Battledress uniform consisting of blouse and trousers (shirt, tie, braces, belts available as options). Blouse is by Richmond Clothing Co Ltd dated 1952, with WW2-era Corporal's chevrons, embroidered Royal Engineers shoulder titles, embroidered Marksman qualification badge, Carpenter/Joiner trade badge, and a pair of printed RE formation badges (27 Engineer Group, London District). Trousers are '49 Pattern BD trousers, select from options. A contemporary wool shirt, and a modern wool tie/braces can be added as options. Various '37 pattern belts and anklets are available on the webshop.

Blouse: Labelled Size 6. Height 5'5-5'6, Breast 38"-39", Waist 33"-34". Actual measurements are:
Chest Width (laid flat): 20"
Jacket Waist: 16.5"

Condition:Blouse - Clean, with some moth damage. Large hole approx 2cm diameter to right arm next to marksman badge (see photo #8). A less obvious hole approx 1cm diameter to front breast (see photo #13). There are 5 or 6 much smaller and less obvious holes to the back of the right cuff. Trousers, expect light wear as standard. Minor moth damage (a few pinhead sized holes and/or surface tracing) likely to trousers unless stated otherwise. More noticeable/serious defects, if any, will be stated in options. Shirts.
